TheGatheringPlace.net Goes Public

August 14, 2002 -- James and Robin Capers, local Marion County residents and Founders of TheGatheringPlace.net, Inc., an Oregon non-profit corporation, are pleased to announce the IRS' approval of their organization's 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, and they are excited to get business underway.

TheGatheringPlace.net will be a major catalyst of World Unity and Peace.  Our Mission is to provide the tools, safe environment and encouragement for the peoples of the world to study their own and each ethnic group's and race's religion, society, laws (rules of their society), language, sciences, culture (art and achievements) and history.  Our method of accomplishing this begins with an innovative multi-lingual Website that integrates information, search and comparison utilities, and safe communications.

The core values of TheGatheringPlace.net are honor, integrity, courage and commitment, which must be fulfilled by understanding and accepting the differences of beliefs held by all peoples, and by the willingness of each to honestly study, investigate, understand and to accordingly, make whatever informed choices and changes necessary in their own.  These values must influence and guide the personal and professional conduct of the men and women serving TheGatheringPlace.net, Inc., our partners, and those who become subscribers, both nationally and internationally.

"We are depending on the Public for support of our initial project,  called Pacific Genesis, meaning, peaceful beginnings", says Robin, the CFO of TheGatheringPlace.net. "We need local contributors to help get operations underway."  James, the President and CEO says,  "The most important part for us right now, is to communicate  the necessity of our project's immediate implementation.  Because of obvious world circumstances, we don't have years to solicit funding.  What our Project needs is a benefactor, one who can help get our project up and running in a timely manner, there is so much work to do."
